Convert fonts with Font Forge

From time to time working on a project, you’ll be sent font files from a client that aren’t compatible with mac.  This happened to me while upgrading a non-standards based HTML site into WordPress, and the previous designer was using mostly images created with the unique font for page headers.  I wanted to stick that font into sIFR titles, so I needed that font working on my mac in Flash.  Font Forge is a modest little app that “allows you to create and modify postscript, truetype and opentype fonts. You can save fonts in many different outline formats, and generate bitmaps.”  Glad I found this sucker, and the GUI is so OX9 since it runs on X11, it’ll  make you smile.
